Individual Psychotherapy

Anxiety & Depression

Get help working through emotions, thoughts, disappointments and experiences by addressing negative patterns and distortions in the way you look at the world, relationships and yourself. In sessions, we will work towards solving current problems, improving behavior, increasing positive thinking and learning effective coping skills.

Phobias & Stress

Learn how to examine your behavior in certain situations so you can start responding instead of reacting. In sessions, we will examine your thoughts and reoccurring patterns to help you understand how they contribute to symptoms. Our goal is to provide you with valuable tools to help cope with discomfort, work through traumatic experiences and focus on personal growth. 

Grief & Loss

Experiencing grief and loss is inevitable in life. We provide a space where compassion meets expertise to help you work through the grieving process. We  will work alongside you to help you cope with the emotional challenges that arise from the loss of a loved one, a significant life change, or any experience causing profound sorrow.

Approaches & Techniques

We are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and often utilize techniques from various theoretical backgrounds. We incorporate mindfulness based stress reduction and radical acceptance into our work with clients. Learn evidence based techniques to reframe your thoughts, challenge irrational beliefs, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Gain self-awareness and form positive habits.

Payment Options

Self Pay

Opting to pay out of pocket for therapy offers individuals the highest level of privacy, confidentiality, and flexibility. Our self-pay rate is $160 for a 45 to 50-minute session, and sliding scale fees are available upon request. We urge potential clients to view therapy as an investment in their personal growth, much like a gym membership or hiring a trainer for physical wellness.

Insurance

We are individually contracted with insurance companies so we recommend checking with your therapist to see if they are in network. It is important to understand your insurance benefits, out of pocket costs, and copay/deductible information so you know what to expect going into your sessions. Insurance companies we typically work with: Hometown Health, Senior Care Plus, Aetna and Lyra. 

Can I Use Out-of-Network Benefits?

If you have out-of-network benefits, you can pay up front and submit for possible reimbursement with your insurance. We can provide you with a super bill to submit with your claims at the end of each month. We encourage all potential clients to call their insurance company to ask about out-of-network benefits. If you do, typically insurance companies will reimburse you 60% - 80% of the cost per session which tends to be roughly near your in-network copay amount.
